In Violetta Seliger’s work, craftsmanship, jewelry, sculpture, and architecture are as inseparable as surface and space. Through rhythm, she creates visual soundscapes; through the skillful overlapping of structures, surfaces become three-dimensional objects, setting time and space in motion. Violetta Seliger plays with the multifaceted nature of our perception; organic structures in nature become multidimensionally perceptible, thus offering a new visual experience from every angle.

After graduating from high school, Violetta Seliger, born in Düsseldorf, completed an apprenticeship as a goldsmith. Following a residency at Spies Design in Chicago (USA), she received a scholarship from the Leonardo da Vinci Program in Florence (Italy). Since 2007, she has worked as a freelance artist, with breaks for residencies in Freiburg and Varese (Italy). Her work has since been exhibited regularly both nationally and internationally and is already represented in prestigious collections.
