Mohammad Al Helal

*1990 in Daraa, Syria

People and nature are Mohammad Al Helal’s themes. They are abstracted and reduced to their elementary biomorphic forms. Particularly in his more recent works, he radically reduces the natural form to a minimum of dynamic, elegant basic elements. The rhinoceros is no longer recognizable as an animal; the horn protrudes vertically from its elliptical head. Nature is inspiration for creating your own sculptural forms – in the tradition of the great Hans Arp.
