For the 4th time in a row, Galerie Kellermann is organizing the charity exhibition #ORANGETHEWORLD.
We are participating in the UN campaign of the same name, which runs from November 25 to December 10, Human Rights Day.
In an introductory session this afternoon, we will talk about the current situation regarding assistance for affected women and the limits of the day-to-day scope of action of women’s shelters and counseling centers. We have invited Silvia Röck, Director of the International Women’s Shelter of the AWO, Luzia Kleene, Coordinator of the Düsseldorf Intervention Project against Domestic Violence and Juliane Bosselmann, Victim Protection Officer of the Düsseldorf Police.
Afterwards, poetry slammer Morgaine Prinz and Kamilla will address everyday situations of queer and female readers with their profound texts.
Once again this year, we and our artists will donate 15% of the proceeds from the sale of selected works. In particular, we would like to support the emergency fund of frauenberatungsstelle düsseldorf e.V.. This provides unbureaucratic and direct help when women and their children are in acute need.
Some artists will be present at the vernissage.
