ZERO23

75 years ago, ZERO founders Otto Piene and Heinz Mack turned the art world clock back to zero. Unlike almost any other art movement, ZERO has remained alive to this day and has influenced the work of countless artists from all over the world, who are now united in the NEW ZERO movement.

Christie’s auction house is currently demonstrating just how important this more recent art movement is. The NEW ZERO artist Bernd Caspar Dietrich will be presented to international collectors in Amsterdam for the first time in the coming weeks. This is an appreciation that only a few contemporary artists receive.

On the occasion of the ZERO anniversary, Galerie Kellermann is presenting selected recent and older works by Günther Uecker, Otto Piene, Heinz Mack, Adolf Luther, Victor Bonato, Rupprecht Geiger and Victor Vasarely. We will also be showing works by NEW ZERO and light artists of the next generation: Bernd Caspar Dietrich, Sascha Nordmeyer, Yoshiyuki Miura, Stephan Marienfeld, Reiner Seliger, Babak Saed, Bardula, David Speybrouck, Marian Bijlenga, Robbert de Goede, Stephi Friedrich, Werner Bitzigeio and Kurt Grimm.
