From a series of 40 different motifs with a total weight of 3 tons. The PVC film was chosen as the image carrier because the initial plan was to create an “underwater book”, but this did not materialize for technical reasons.
The photo shows Joseph Beuys in his shepherd’s coat during the installation of the work “Rudel”, in which a VW Bully is pulled by sledges with felt rollers.
