The installation was shown at the audiovisual festival Morphonic Lab Festival 2022 and 2023 in Dresden.

Hundreds of LEDs of the model house are audio-reactively programmed, as is the video projection of the animated film by Hanna Griepentrog, which shows a fictitious, hand-drawn Kim Saatchi. During the audiovisual festival Morphonic Lab XXI and XXII 2022 and 2023 in Dresden, the Plexiglas cube shone from a scaffold above the audience’s heads into the dark world, imitating the sound performance, beat and intensity from the nearby stage in real time in light and video. The model house and the fictitious model person Kim Saatchi – daughter of the global art dealer Charles Saatchi – are hermetically separated from the environment by the Plexiglas. It is not possible to exert any influence. The system only reacts to audible changes from outside using a fixed algorithm that is implemented in the model house. The louder it gets around the system, the more violently Kim Saatchi is thrown back and forth by the video projection on the metal wall, and the brighter and more brightly the model house shines and dazzles.

As lightly as Kim Saatchi, drawn by Hanna Griepentrog, may dance and writhe on the metal wall in the room, she will never be able to break out of the system. In the utopian cuboid, man and model house are firmly installed and the interactions between them and the environment are formulated. For a never-ending show, whose glaring light and cold polished metal dazzlingly towers above all the other actors.
