Minju Kang

Edition: Unikat

Minju Kang explores the tension between man and nature in her allegorical, surreal works. The two tents stand alone together in the vast desert, with red stains in front of them. Is it blood? Where have the people gone? The artist painted this work after a traumatic dental treatment in Korea. The rocks in the background loom like white teeth. Vulnerability and connection with nature are vividly expressed in this atmospherically dense work.
