Artworks full of concentration and meditation
For Robbert de Goede, concentration and meditation are important prerequisites for contentment and happiness. They are inextricably linked to creative processes and intensive self-awareness. His works are surprisingly sensual spatial experiences that virtually draw the viewer into the work and enable new spatial experiences.
Each object is unique and handmade from acrylic ropes. He also realizes larger works and fascinating spatial installations on a project basis.

The roots of Robbert de Goede’s artistic work lie in architecture. De Goede was born in Amsterdam in 1969 and studied architectural design at the HKU in Utrecht and art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago until 1998. He finds his artistic role models in kinetic art, minimalism, and the Dutch ZERO movement, NUL.
De Goede is also a true spatial architect in his artworks. He searches for connections and dynamic compositions in space; the third dimension is his home. His aim is to take the viewer into a space full of calm and balance, a space in which the psyche can become creative, relax, and experience happiness.
