Taking inspiration from nature and landscapes while allowing her intuition to guide her, Sonja Klb places her focus on colours and their gradients. At times, these turn into dynamic- abstract rhythms and emotions, while at others the artist gives shape to impressions she brought back from her travels. The spectator thus steps right into an abstract space and mood or an even dreamlike state.
The moment these pieces move into their collectors´ living space, they exude qualities such as joie de vivre, connection to nature, harmony and fantasy.
The exhibition „Nature, Light & Time“ creates a space in which Sonja Kalb´s colourful paintings meet the delicate paper works by painter and photographer Martina Justus.
