Since the 1930s, Dalí has been closely linked to the world of haute couture. Personalities such as Coco Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli and the model Amanda Lear influenced his life and his art. In this sculpture, a sensual Venus poses in the posture of a supermodel, with roses blooming on her head as a sign of her versatility. The lover kneels in front of her and pays homage to his muse.

Original bronze edition, conceived in 1979 and first cast in 1984, personally authorized by Dali.
