In her works, Vanessa Mann deals with imaginary spaces of development that change through parameters such as the incidence of light, the surrounding architecture and the scenario taking place within them, mutating into surreal conditions.

In the installation “Zündung”, the smell of the past is still in the air and becomes the starting point for the path ahead. Starting something new can mean setting off into the unknown and leaving everything behind.
