The elephant, which reaches into the sky with its telescopically elongated legs, carries an obelisk on its golden ceiling as the ultimate sign of power and strength; it brings luck and success and protects against all dangers. For Dali, the elephant is also the symbol of the future, the acrylic obelisk is the symbol of modern technology.
Original bronze edition, conceived and cast for the first time in 1980, personally authorized by Dali.
