Nadja Lana

*1992 in Haan, Germany

In her chimerical pictures, Nadja Lana makes reference to the relationship between humans and nature, but also to the ancient world of myths and fables, in joyfully colored panoptices. The ancient god Pan was a hybrid creature with a human upper body and the lower body of a goat. Pan stands for unbridled joy of life, joy in music and voluptuous debauchery – elements that can be found in many of Nadja Lana’s works.
