We once again put a lot of energy and effort into the project this year and are therefore delighted with the exclusively positive feedback from the numerous visitors and experts.
All visitors had the opportunity to vote for their personal favorites during the two exhibitions. The voting results were very close in some cases. We are now announcing the 4 nominees for this year’s award.
The nominees for the ACADEMY SELECTION AWARD 2024 are:
– Si Cheng (HfBK Dresden) – Sina Yome Link (UdK Berlin) – Jianan Ning (HfbK Hamburg) – Matilde Romagnoli (ABK Munich)
In the finalist exhibition “THE FINALS”, we are showing the works of the finalists as well as other works by artists who also received many votes. It includes works by Mohammad Al Helal, Leona Egelkamp, Yeil Joo, Karen Jule Klöpfer, Krowni, Nadja Lana, Sunwoo Min, Karolin Nirschl, Aya Onodera, Cloudy Leehyeon Shin, Niloufar Shirani, Dior Thiam, Jascha Wolfram, Jiayi Zhao and Linan Zhu.
The exhibition is complemented by works from last year’s winners of the ACADEMY SELECTION AWARD:
– Fabian Pfleger (2022) and – Merlin Reichart (2023).
